audiotransparent is a Dutch indie pop band, formed in 2002 with influences spanning americana, pop and rock genres. After their self-titled debut in 2003, they released nevland in 2005, named after Norwegian striker Erik Nevland who played for FC Groningen.

Their third album, Chekhov Guns was released in 2009 after two years of recording in a fully analog studio. The band line-up features Bart Looman (vocals, guitar, bass), Michel Weber (drums), Gijs van Veldhuizen (guitar, synth), Andreas Willemse (keys, synth, violin), and Chris van der Ploeg (guitar).
